Crossmark Policy Page

What is Crossmark

Crossmark is a multi-publisher initiative from Crossref to provide a standard way for readers to locate the current version of a piece of content. By applying the Crossmark logo, Elmer Press is committing to maintaining the content it publishes, and to alerting readers to changes if and when they occur.

Please be advised that only significant editorial changes will be deposited to Crossmark, those that are likely to affect the interpretation or crediting of the work, and not for minor changes such as spelling corrections or formatting changes.

Clicking on the Crossmark logo will tell you the current status of a document, and may also give you additional publication record information about the document.

Corrections

If the paper with error has been published, and the error is minor without affecting the overall results and conclusions of the study, a correction statement will be published in the next available issue.

Retractions

If serious error or scientific misconduct occurs, the article will be retracted during any stage of publishing. The authors or journal/publisher can initiate retraction of an article.

Retractions are carried out in accordance with the COPE Retraction Guidelines, information on COPE Retraction Guidelines can be found here: Retraction Guidelines.

Errata

If errors occur during the editing/copyediting or proofreading because of the publisher, a correction will be published as erratum.
