Open Access License Transition Statement
Effective January 1, 2026, Elmer Press Inc. has adopted the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY) as the standard open access license for all newly published articles.
All articles published on or after January 1, 2026 are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY). This license permits unrestricted use, distribution, reproduction, and adaptation in any medium or format, including for commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and the source, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are clearly indicated.
Articles published prior to January 1, 2026 remain licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial License (CC BY-NC) under which they were originally published. The licensing terms of previously published content are not altered retroactively.
Authors retain copyright of their work under both licensing models and grant Elmer Press Inc. the right to publish the article and identify itself as the original publisher.
This transition reflects Elmer Press Inc.’s commitment to full open access, funder compliance, and the widest possible dissemination and reuse of scholarly research.
